Atty. Villamor graduated from the Ateneo de Manila Loyola Schools in 2004 with the Bachelor of Science degree in Management Engineering and later on earned his Juris Doctor in the Ateneo de Manila School of Law in 2008. He was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2009.
Atty. Villamor is a corporate lawyer who began his practice in corporate law and litigation of the Picazo Buyco Tan Fider & Santos Law Offices in 2008 where he focused on corporate housekeeping, compliance, mergers, acquisitions and corporate restructuring, immigration law, commercial litigation and labor law.
He subsequently brought the corporate mindset from the private sector to the public sector when he later served in the government. As the Chief of Staff of Councilor Alfred D. Vargas III and a Legislative Consultant for Vice Mayor Joy Belmonte, he focused on spearheading several operational and legislative initiatives for the Local Government of Quezon City.
He further augmented his government experience as the Chief of Staff of Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority Chairman and Administrator Roberto V. Garcia, serving as the equivalent of a deputy administrator executing legal, management, administrative and political functions. He also concurrently served as the Corporate Secretary of SBMDC Inc., a joint venture of SBMA and the Universal Development Corporation of Taiwan.
Atty. Villamor returned to private practice as a corporate lawyer in Gorriceta Africa Cauton & Saavedra Law where he assisted in various capital markets and infrastructure projects prior to returning to the government serving under the Province of Bataan.
Atty. Villamor is focused on securities, corporate law, financial technology, legislative advocacy, immigration law, competition law and special projects.
